One of our defining beliefs at True Nroth is that therapeutic manual therapy is profoundly healing. Working this way affords us time to work holistically with each client for optimal results. However, it often does not fit into typical PT insurance timeframes. For this reason, we made the decision to work as an ‘Out-of-Network’ or a ‘Non-Participating’ Provider. This means that we do not accept any insurance, and patients are required to provide payment on the day of treatment (we accept credit cards, checks and cash). We provide PT clients with a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. These receipts have all required information Insurance companies need for reimbursement.
Because True North does not accept insurance, it is strongly recommended that you contact your insurance company IN ADVANCE of your first appointment o find out what your ‘Out of Network’ benefits are for Physical Therapy. Wellness care is not covered under insurance, but yo may use your ‘Flexible Health Account’ to pay for treatments.
Some recommended questions for insurance carriers:
- Do I have ‘Out of Network’ Physical Therapy coverage? If so, what percentage of treatment cost will be covered?
- What is my deductible and has it been met this calendar year?
- How many PT sessions does my policy cover each calendar year?
- Is there an annual cap in PT coverage?
We have made our new patient forms available to you for your convenience. Please remember to bring your completed forms with you for your first appointment.
