Katelyn Hubbard joined our team at TRUE NORTH PT in June 2024. Katelyn graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, DPT, from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2017, and received a BS in Exercise Science from Auburn University in 2010.
Katelyn’s professional PT career has focused primarily on outpatient orthopedics, but she is also experienced in providing both orthopedic and neurologic care in acute care and short term/long term rehabilitation settings. Katelyn has a passion for improving her patients’ quality of life through movement, and cares deeply about facilitating clients rehabilitation. Through one-on-one treatment sessions, Katelyn creates holistic, individualized treatment plans addressing the underlying causes of symptoms, and uses movement and exercise combined with manual treatments to achieve these goals.
During her time at Auburn University, Katelyn was a Collegiate Athlete on the Women’s Track team. This gives her a unique perspective working with athletes to train safely and recover from injury. She is skilled in analyzing gait and running patterns, and utilizes this to help improve athletic performance.
Katelyn has also developed a special interest in working with pregnant and postpartum women. She understands the unique physiological challenges they face, and enjoys helping them safely move and return to pre-pregnancy activities.
